a for a close up....

today i set out to get a picture of the boys swimming today... our favorite way to burn off that energy that my boys seem to never lack ;-)
weston was to busy playing basketball with some friends he made and was to cool to le me take a pic so all the ones i got of him are the back of his head...which i think is a pretty head but in pictures i prefer to see his face...just saying
so i was able to get this one of t-boy! my sweet boy

Climb on!!

our new family adventure...christopher has been wanting us all to get into rock climbing for a while now and as of this week it our "new"" hobbie. i love seeing us all doing this as a family and the joy it brings to christopher face.
sorry not the best pic...technically..the lighting is bad in gym and i am trying to "learn" how to shoot in all the place i have problems shooting in so this is better than i have done in the past but not quiet their still ;-)

another try....

so here was another try to get both boys in a single photograph for our valentines card....

started off like this

and then they laughed.... (i know taylor is out of focus thus the reason this is not our valentine picture, but i do think i got one that may work, i will post it on valentines day!)

can you tell what is missing from this picture?? yes that would be a sibling missing... he said 'its to cold to smile" and did not want to take a pic today. So we will try again on a warmer day to day "try" to get two boys in the same shot.

weel 2: my date with taylor

taylor and i had a date to the dallas zoo (which we had never been before) while weston and daddy had a date to a hockey game. sorry to say i have no pictures from the hockey game since I was not there :-( but i got some of taylor @ the zoo. zoos are one of taylor favorite and i do have to say i was not expecting the dallas zoo to be as good as it really was..we where very impressed!!! taylor was so in to seeing it all..he really on let me take pictures of him after we where done and having our snack. but i will take whatever i get!!!

this rare occasion taylor "Let"me take his picture... i ran out the front door to get the mail and he was sitting there playing and look so cute so i ran an grab the camera and he said i could take "one picture!" ohh thank you Tay Tay!!!

okay so i know these are not pictures from "this year"... but i had to share them. We took a road trip for our thanksgiving last year and had so much much..minus the strep throat interference :(

This new year....

A new Year, a new blog....
This is my new project for this year. I am (well going to try) to post a photo of the week. I am doing this just to keep me learning and taking pictures. I can go through spells of weeks/months of no pic...and i want to change that. SO this is my project!!!!
And i am already behind..i missed the first week of Jan and i am just going to have to let that one go :(
